Generally speaking our Company can undertake contracts within a 30 mile radius of our Honingham Head Office, although due to improvements over recent years to the nearby A47 and A11 major roads this is no longer necessarily the limit of our capabilities, as such the location of contracts is considered at the tender stage of a contract.

Contracts have been undertaken in Norwich, Great Yarmouth, Wells, Diss, Wymondham, Hingham and many more Norfolk and North Suffolk towns.

To maximise our efficiency and the quality of the finished product our management structure has four levels of responsibility starting with the Managing Director, Contracts Mangers, Site Managers through to the Site Operatives. From experience we have found that this structure is best suited to contracts over the value of £300,000 and as such contracts that have a smaller value are overseeen by our small works manager.

We also directly employ a variety of trades which helps us maintain a high level of availability of a wide spectrum of common trades. Specialist trades are catered for by our excellent relationship with a number of local sub contracting companies.

All of our plant is wholly owned by the company and includes a fleet of JCB, Hitatchi, Volvo and Merlo excavators and telescopic handlers.

We also operate three lorries from our Honingham base; two tipper lorries and one flatbed plant lorry. By operating a plant lorry this allows us to minimise the standing time of machinery and as such improve the efficiency of these resources.

In addition to our heavy goods vehicles we also operate a fleet of vans and pickup trucks. This diverse range of vehicles facilitates the movement of both personnel and materials to where they are required, at the time at which they are required without any reliance on third parties.

To ensure that our plant, machinery and vehicles perform both reliably and at their most efficient inspections and servicing are performed outside of normal working hours by independent mechanics on a weekly basis. Faults that are identifed are recorded and recitified by the same mechanics as soon as possible to ensure minimal downtime of plant during working hours.
